Description: 58 Waterfront/Beach The lobby is open air, medium sized and Thai style. The Hotel has one main restaurant just above the pool level which is multicuisine. The exterior is a white Mediterranean style terraced lowrise building on different levels where lobby level is at the top and rooms are at lower levels that go doen to the freeform swimming pool and the beach. Rooms are large and similar with beige musty smelling carpets and white walls. Furniture is teak couloured with pastel couloured upholstery. Bathrooms have only shower and the lighting is poor. This is the south of the main "lamai Beach" about 2 kms south from the famous Grandfather/Grandmother rocks. The beach while quieter is full of coral which could hurt if one is not wearing proper footwear. A tourists class secluded resort within a hike of the entertainment and restaurant areas of Lamai beach. (11/07KT) |
